lifter problems Help ASAP

Alright So i installed a set of 1.6 rockers on my car last week with new pushrods, guidplates, springs, etc. Last night i was driving my car and suddenly my car starting taping really loud and ran like crap. I open the valve covers today 2 rockers were totally off the studs and laying next to the spring One of the pushrods was bent in the shape of the letter U. So i reinstalled everything, replaced pushrod, set zero lash. The lifter/pushrod that was bent started squirting oil out of the tip of the pushrod like it was squirtgun. Do you guys think i jacked up the lifter as well?

You have to make sure you REALLY tighten the locks on the rockers. i tighten the allen key as tight as i can get it with a t handle type allen wrench, then give it an additional alittle turn to really lock it down. I set mine at 1/4 turn, so the extra little turn isn't gunna hurt anything. Jus keep it uniform on all the rockers.

As far as the lifters, they should be fine. I'm assuming you had self aligning lifters

never mind, i saw that u said guide plates. Either way, lifters SHOULD be fine, but if you are worried about it pull the intake and take a look.

Well i tighted the poly locks down really tight i thought, it happened on the #6 cylinder. The exhaust rocker poly lock actually came off while the intake rocker got loose enough to were it just spun off the pushrod. I guess i didnt tighted the poly locks tight enough, do any of you guys use locktight like the blue one?
