lifter issue?

i finally got my exhaust leak fixed after 4 hours of drilling out the bolt on my header to y-pipe connection and put in a new bolt. i still have the noise that i would describe as a singular clacking coming from the driver side under the intake. its not my injectors, i can here the clack over the clicking of the injectors. it clacks mostly when i first start it up and let it warm up. i just took it for a drive and got on it good, came back got out of car and clacking was gone. but i know it will come back next time i start it. im fairly certain its a lifter as i didnt replace them when rebuilt 30k miles ago. the lifters now have 83k miles and they see alot of high rpms. just looking for some comfirmation before i tear it apart. any opinions?

It's pretty common for LT1 motors to have valvetrain noise when cold, it doesn't necessary mean you have a dead lifter. But with that many miles, a new set of lifters in the near future sure wouldn't hurt.
