Lifter concern
Lifter concern
So I just finished setting up the valvetrain for my LE2 swap, and I noticed the #1 exhaust poly lock had very little resistance when setting my preload, as opposed to the others. There is no slack in the pushrod, but it felt like the lifter was quickly bleeding down or something.
Could this possibly be a bad lifter? I was having no valvetrain issues before, and I'm reusing my stock 80k lifters (nothing strange upon inspection). It is the only lifter that felt like that.
(Valvetrain parts: Stock used GM lifters, Trickflow 7.150" chromemoly pushrods, ARP 7/16" studs, ARP poly locks, Comp Pro Mag 1.6 NSA RRs, using Shoebox's Method #3 for setting lash - http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_tech2.html#adjust_valves)
