lets see those ported LT1 heads

looking for some ideas and pictures of LT1 heads before and after do it your self porting and polishing.

Also this post maybe very useful so include some pointers and tecniques you used in your adventure.

Here's mine.. Don't have a clue who did them. Got them for free. I just put new valves in and had them checked and cleaned..

TEA ported TFS LT1 heads. CNC obviously. 220 cc intake, 63cc chamber, 2.08/1.60 Ferra valves

I have been working on my heads at lunch at work and it seems if you want to do a mild porting and polishing, its the exhaust that needs the most attention. am I wrong? I ported alot out of the exhaust port and it seems besides some polishing work the intake port is okay...correct me if I am wrong.

well the intake ports need work also. i dont know how to explain it but they have alittle curve the air has to move around, and you should take alot of that material out. go around the valve guidesm yada yada, so yes the intake ports need work to if you want more power.
