lets drop off a few tenths

first time to the track and i run a 14.2 and a 14.3 with 60ft times of 2.2 and 2.3. i have a 95 m6 with flowmaster muffler, air foil, and i also removed the lid on my air box (i zip tied the filter on). do you think it would be beneficial to get a cai and cat back since i can mod my air box like i did and i already have a flowmaster muffler? i know the whole cat back would help considering i only have a muffler and its flowmaster which isn't saying much but do you still think these two combined will be worth 2 or 3 tenths with what i have now? any other suggestions would be great. i don't want to run slicks or nitrous or something of that nature.

If I were you I would get teh CAI,then headders. the flowmaster and stock pipe is probally not hurting you that much.then 1.6 RR but unless you get some better tires your just spinning you wheels.

Get a set of Drag Radials. You would already be in the 13s with a good 60ft (like a 1.8 or 1.9) then i would recommend the CAI and the Catback.

Hope that helps a little,
Claude

I agree with 95 Silver TA, get some drag radials then go for the CAI and cat-back. I'm guessing you're traping 98.xx. I used to trap 98.5 bone stock at 14.1 and 2.3 60'. Cat-back and CAI should put you at 103 with a 2.0 60' that would come out to 13.5-13.6 or maybe better. Thats what I have and I'm going for 13.5 this friday. HTH and good luck.

That sounds right. Most stock LT1s trap 98-100.
