Lightbulb Leave (_Y_) stock-Build Top What CAM !?

If I were to take my heads off to clean out my bottom end and do some head work on the top end I would want to redo my cam as well.

I need to know the best cam for this kind of thing. SMOG DOESNT MATTER THAT MUCH.

95 Z-28 350

planning on titanium retainers.

What springs and what cam?

I would prefer somthing that:
---idles nice and mean but
---good for every day use.
---Good for nitrous
---fast intake ramp

I have heard of some slightly more radical profile cams that have good intake suction while maintaining awesome numbers. I dont know a lot about cams but I found somthing on the boards about that once and I wasn't sure what it was. Sounded great though!!

Planning on nicely flowing ported LT1 heads. heavily ported...

1.6 rr's

I KNOW SOMEONE KNOWS THE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION!

I BET A LOT OF GUYS WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE SAME THING TOO!

I would suggest doing things in this order just to save you some money.
Get a set of heads off for sale section to save you down time
get the heads ported/ valve job etc
call comp cams at 1-800-999-0853
and give them the flow specs on your heads
they will help with the cam choice, springs, lifters, rods this way you dont invest in excess parts
your car will be running to peak performance
and you wont have the down time
Oh and get a tune after install very important
