leaky collectors?

leaky collectors?

it seems like my collectors are leaking a little , just seems like no matter how tight they just wont go flush

can i double stack the gaskets ?

I know what you mean. When you tighten the collectors the flanges bend when you tighten them pretty tight. I just put some exhaust mender on them. No leaks anymore. What are signs of leaks of headers off the heads?

exactly is there anyways to fix that , can i double stack the gaskets and put some hight temp RTV on there?


header leaks
u usally run alittle rich

u get a ticking sound that increases with rpms

sometimes a stumble if its really bad

Come to think of it, I did double stack the gaskets. Put 2 gaskets in there. Try the High temp RTV sealant too. I also used exhaust patch and it doesn't leak anymore. I need to actually have the rest of my sysem re welded.
