leaks

well my car was okay for the first 6 months i owned it, i beat on it every now and then, and it did fine.

however it started leaking, and it just keeps getting worse. ive heard these engines are notorious for leaking, but i dont buy that.

i checked my pcv valve and its functioning fine, so either my rings are worn and i have excessive blowby...causing leaks...or i just suck at resealing ****.

any thoughts?

Thoughts?? Yeah. Believe what you hear, LT1's are known to be leaky. Get used to it.

Where is the oil coming from?? Front or back of the motor??? Most common leaks are the rear of the intake manifold and the front of the oil pan at the timing cover.

I was having trouble to and it helped to go to a thicker oil (10w 40) and stay away from the synthentic stuff. They are very thin and can go places thicker oils can't.
