leaking oil after T56 swap...

So I just finished my t56 swap, got everything together drove the car for the day. Everything is running great, parked it for the night and this morning I backed it out to clean the garage and noticed an oil spot on the ground. The area was about as big as my hand. I found it odd because the car has never leaked (not that I noticed) since I have owned it 5 years now.

So I check everything over from the top side, couldn't find anything. So fearing a leaky rear-main seal, I got it on some jackstands. Took off the dust shied, and from what I can tell it is leaking fro the rear of the oil pan. I am thinking maybe the reason I never noticed it was because of the dust-shield on the A4 maybe covered of the signs?

If their anyway to confirm this verses the real main seal? Also how do I go about fixing the leak at the rear of the oil pan?

I have had 3 leaks back there. One was a pan gasket, another a rear intake manifold leak, and a 3rd was actually a oil filter on too tight so that the gasket got messed up. Anyway, I would wash it all down with degreaser and dry it, Then put some flourescent UV fluid in the oil. The kits with the uv pen light are at most auto stores and cost less than $20. Shows exactly where the leak is after running the car for a few mins. Fixing where you think the leak is and it turns out not to be it just suxs.

I went ahead and dropped the oil pan today. Added a little High Temp RTV to the rear gasket and bolted it back up and took it for a little drive. Letting it sit now to see if she leaks or not.

Well unforunatly the car is still leaking, seems to leak after I park it and let it cool down. This sucks, so I have to drain the oil again and drop the pan!
