Leak down test tells u its a bad exhaust valve right?
Leak down test tells u its a bad exhaust valve right?
Aight i did a compression test on cyl. 5. It got 0. I did a leak down on cyl. 5. It got Zero. I poored about a cap of oil in the spark plug hole and re-did my compression test (as the leak down test).
could it still be a ring. Like the oil wasnt enough to create a temp seal.

no smoke out the back... but on the way home when it first started doing it... the ride wasnt way to rough really.. just serious loss of power and tapping noise.. idle was alittle rough. It'd dip in the rpms and then raise automatically. Then smoke started coming out the valve covers and PCV valve on the throttle body...
You got no compression or sealing on either test? When doing a leakdown test, you should be able to hear the air escaping somewhere. Where it is escaping can lead you to what it is that is leaking. If you hear air in the intake or exhaust, it is valves that are leaking. If air is coming out of the dipstick tube or valve cover vents, then rings/piston are suspect.
when the car was running lots of smoke was coming out the PCV tube. Bottom left oil tube on the throttle body. Lots of smoke was coming out that one.... which connects to the valve cover.
It was also pushing oil up past the rear intake manifold.
