Le2 wont crank

Well I finally got the motor back together and put it in the car. So I go to start it and it cranks over a little and bogs down. I checked the wires to the starter and all the grounds, but it didnt make any diffrence. I even grabbed the other batery out of my dd camaro and tried it. So I know its not the battery. The only other thing I could think is that the rockers were lashed to tight. I backed all of them off at least 1 turn or more. This seemed to help, but it still wont crank like it should. It will crank for a little bit and bog down again. I am stumped. If its not the rockers then I dont know what else it could be. It is a le2 heads and cam motor with comp cams 1.6 roller rockers. The entire valvetrain is new. And I rebuilt the stock bottom end with new rings and bearings. And yes the crank turned over just fine before I put it in. Any ideas would be helpful, because I cant figure out what else it could be.

Did you make sure the the motor is grounded? First start up of my car it ran fine gave it a few revs and was going to let the car idle for a little while but it shut it's self off... only to find that the ground wire for the motor was not grounded to anything, it was just hanging there.

Edit: Here is the video of what I am talking about... sorry, dark video, it was 4:30 a.m.

Did you actually hook up the other battery or just jump it? Is your starter hooked up correctly?

It's one thing not to start and another thing not to turn over sufficiently to start. So if it doesn't turn over good enough it has to be the starter or the battery or connections JMHO

I actually hooked up the batery. It acted just the same. Just bogged down and then stalled. Here is a sound clip of it. And I checked all my wires and grounds. http://s48.photobucket.com/albums/f2...arostartup.flv

Well, if your are confident that you put the engine together correctly, why don't you push start it in 2nd and see if it starts and runs?---bearing in mind of course, that if you didn't put it together correctly, you might seriously injure your motor.JMHO
