Thumbs up LE2 package installed and dynoed...

Finally got the setup installed. The car was dyno tuned by Dan at FLP of Naperville IL.

The cam pulls like nothing else. All the way up to the 6300 rpms that I shift at, but not all the time. And it still wants to keep pulling, if I only had a 383.

I am very pleased with the performance of the LE2, and the drivability factor. I can drive in traffic with minimal difference over stock.

Anyways, the car dynoed 400 rwhp. I forgot what the trq. numbers were, but Ill post those as soon I can find the dyno sheet. The temps in the dyno room were 120 F an about 95% humidity. Im sure that with more favorable temperatures, the car would've dynoed a little higher.

I dont know how soon I am going to the track, but as soon as I do I'll post up track times as this is what everyone criticizes the LE stuff. I know numbers mean jack if you cant make a decent pass at the track. I think its going to be a while, as I dont think the stock 10 bolt with the 4.10's is going to hold up well with a good launch on a DR.

Anyways, thanks Lloyd for a great product. It met if not exceeded all of my expectations of how well the car would perform. Also, thanks to the CZ28 community for providing numerous threads that I could search through and do extensive research on. Before even talking to Lloyd or making a decision on what setup I was going to go with, I spent a good year if not longer just researching what is available and what I want out of my car.

EDIT*** During the installation of the cam, we did not degree the cam properly. We are going to have to go back in there and set the cam to proper specs. This was brought to my attention by Bret and Lloyd.

New hp and tq numbers coming soon.

Also, the amound of emails that ihave sent back and forth with Lloyd is mindboggling, and then there are phone calls to Lloyd. Thanks Lloyd for taking the time to answer all and any questions that I had.

Did FLP install the heads/cam as well? Or just the dynotune? How much do they charge for dyno time over there? Also, what kind of timing chain did you use? Glad you are happy with the setup.

Re: LE2 package installed and dynoed...

Used a cloyes double roller timing chain.

FLP only did the tunning, my friend and I installed everything in one weeks time during the night after work.

That's awesome man. My heads are shipping back to me on Monday. What kind of supporting mods do you have? Hurry and post that dyno graph.

Re: LE2 package installed and dynoed...

You just have to change head gaskets, no need to deck the block.

Nice HP mark, I'm curious about the torque and the rest of your mods?

Car made 365 rwtq. Personally, I thought it would be higher. It was probably due to the weather conditions during the tune, but I am not an expert. I was expecting something more like 400hp/400tq.
