Re: LE2 Dyno Video

ahh ok, I wasn't talking trash at all, dont get me wrong. I was just saying that every time I went to TSP and asked them how much to install a cam they laughed at me and said 1000$+ and I laughed and asked how much their dyno was... they have never made me happy (but I have stock suspension). I hear they have good prices on BMR suspension though. Good numbers, whats up w/ the torque though? with just the cam I have more tq (at least when I dynoed w/ a bad opti/waterpump) than HP... does doing heads not really gain much tq?

I was shifting about 6500 or 6600.
The setup makes power to 6500 on the dyno and it was still climbing when he let out.
Yes I do have 4.10's
You wouldn't think that cam would make power that high would you? Considering the other cams out there that are bigger.

I'm gonna be in Texas later on this spring, I have no clue what is close to what, but I'd love to ride in your setup. It's always fun to ride along in customer cars.

Bret, do you have an updated site?
Nah, I don't have enough time to do cam designs, e-mails and shop work AND have some sort of a life. Hell I get phone numbers on the weekends I can go out and never get any time to call the cute ones up.

I would love to talk with someone who can do what I want with my site, but I'm a picky bastard and probably a horrible customer. Hell getting the thing layed out in Dreamweaver so I could edit the text and pictures would be great for me, I just don't know how to do all the links etc...

Mainly I want it up for the parts store side. Then sponsoring boards would be worthwhile.

Not alot left to get it all together...Waiting on parts and machine work....

Hopefully it will hold alot more than a 150 shot now

Re: LE2 Dyno Video

Can you post up the graph? Are you planning on taking the car to the track?

Re: LE2 Dyno Video

The video shows the torque curve, but it does not show the rpm you are at. What rpm are you at right when the torque curve starts? I wonder if the cam I got from Bret is the LE2 cam? Is your lift way up there with a commonly chosen duration?

Re: LE2 Dyno Video

Mike,

The Cam only setups I do and the LE2 cam I do are similar, but not the same cam. He has the 1st revision of the LE2 cam which has more overlap. The cam only cams work really well with ported heads too. We should see about that here soon when Jon A dynos his LE3 head setup on his.

BTW did you get that e-mail I sent with the TunerCat file?

Bret
