Re: LE heads & stock cam dyno#s

You just need some tuning done for that setup to get the air fuel ratio right and also gain some more HP, but the numbers are not bad either way!

Nice! About the same I put down with stock heads and XE 224/230. Excellent numbers for an A4.

Guess this answers that question that comes up every so often - Ported heads and stock cam worth it?

Which heads did you use? LE1, LE2, LE3?

Re: LE heads & stock cam dyno#s

Re: LE heads & stock cam dyno#s

Lloyd didn't have the Le#'s when I got these done. They have larger valves and ported.

Why would I do all this with out putting a cam in? I had a cam in it but took it out when I wrecked my daily driver 01 SS. So I drive this now and purchased a 93 Z with a 355 to play with.

I'm going to start tunning it this week and hope fully can get 330rwhp out of it.

Re: LE heads & stock cam dyno#s

What size valves do the heads have? Got any flow numbers? I've been contemplating getting a setup just like that.

Re: LE heads & stock cam dyno#s

since the cam is a completely different install from the heads, i dont see why just doing the heads was a bad idea. those numbers look great! get your a/f down, as stated before, and youll see some more nice gains.

Re: LE heads & stock cam dyno#s

I think with a tune you will be over 330 rwhp.
Make sure you post what you get after you get it tuned im real interested in what you can hit with full bolt on's and a set of heads.

Nice numbers, but I too would have done a cam regardless at the same time.
