LE head porting?

I have seen a couple threads on LE ported heads an have seen problems where the ports have been cut through bolt holes. My question is what happends when this occurs, when you send your heads to him? Are the heads still good? is there a "garantee" against this or do you have to fix it yourself? I have been awaiting funds to get my LE2 head, cam, intake done and just wanted to make sure of somethings. Thanks

all that means is that the rocker studs will slightly protrude into the intake ports

simple fix: put some thread sealant on the studs before installing them

Refer back to post #5. This is a very common thing.

It's not just LE heads... Any stock casting that has a full port job will have the same issue, but as long as the flow numbers are good, and consistant, it's not a problem.
