Last Electric WP ? i promise!

so guys i just want to be sure... the shaft that comes out of the block (and goes in to the metal sleeve which fits into the back of the WP) stays in the block right? cuz i can't even figure out a way to remove it, but i just want to get a second opion.

I used a hammer to remove mine..Its not needed anymore unless you plan on converting back again..

It's best to just leave it in. To remove it you must take the timing cover off, which means you'll have to replace that gasket, and then you'ld need to plug the hole in the timing cover. Just leave it in. Remove the metal sleeve that connects it with the waterpump though.

I just left mine in too, it'll be fine or should I say I haven't read where someone has had a problem with one yet.
