My oil filter is in the way of my driver side header, headers are lt1 1-3/4 x 1-7/8 x 3'' any ideas why?

 

Are you running a filter larger than stock size?

 

This happened to me and I had to go back to the stock AC delco filter that is tiny. No more problems

 

I used a standard-sized Purolator filter for the first oil change after the install. I did get it in, but it was a pain. The next change I put in the AC Delco filter since it's shorter. No problem at all. It fits well. I'll be using the AC filter from now on.

 

do you have an oil cooler on it? My older brothers 94 ta had one.. it had to come out when the hooker lt's went in.

yep i called nick at kooks and he said i had to lose the oil cooler
