I just got my 93z28 its the m6 with 64k on it. I am hearing a slight knaockling/tapping noise. I held a metal rod up to the fuel rails and the noise is ditinct to the rails. When the rpms get higher the knocking gets higher. I have held the rod to the valve covers no noise at all. Is this normal for these cars for the fuel injection to make a tapping noise or is my injectors messed up. Any feedback would be great thanks

My fuel injectors are quite loud too, but the car runs like a top. Had the car now over two years and same noise.

 

yes,same here,just get a louder muffler like i did.

 

This ticking noise is annoying but if its nothing big than im not going to worry about it. Thanks for the replyies guys
