You can make it less sensitive by taking it out and wraping the treads with teflon tape. (Be sure and have something handy to plug up the hole while you wrap it)

That is without programming. You desensitize the KS by using an inline resistor.

On my 96 Formula I just unplugged it. Never had any ill effects. I know some peole say it will pull timing if unhooked but mine never did.

Just curious since the traction control will pull timing also. I wonder how many people have a problem with the traction system pulling timing through a faulty connection to the PCM?

So why do you think your engine is vibrating? You didn't install solid motor mounts did you?

Did you verify that with some data logging? Just curious.

i have a swith for TC... not to sure if its the motor or the drivetrain, but i think it may be the input shaft on the tranny is bent.. but dont know... ill be puttin the auto back in soon so we shall see about the vibration..

Will poly motor mounts cause the sensor and module to pick up more knock then the stock rubber bushings?

Only if you consider Scanmaster data logging. My car ran very good for the mods, if it was pulling any timing I'd **** myself. I'm about to try this to my 95 Formula as well, I know it is getting false knock from my exhaust, I'll see if this does anything for me.
