Knock Modules

Why is the LT1 knock module twice as expensive as the LT4 Knock module on GMpartsDirect. THe stock one is $60 almost while the LT4 one is only $30

Not sure, the LT4 is the better choice anyways.

I doubt that anyone here can answer that, but I bet there are lots of people that would sell you a stock KM for very little.

When I looked at the price for the stock sensor, it was only $~49.

nah i have an LT4 one, i was just curious because the tutorial i found that had the parts numbers on the lt4 knock and the lt1 knock had the wrong number for the LT1 so i looked it up on the one i took out and it was $56.89 or something and i thought that was really expensive

I assume the Lt-1 is so expensive because there is no demand for it. The dealership by my house sell the 1-LE intake for well over 100$, but dealerships that oder a ton of them can sell them much much cheaper. I see no reason to use the LT-1 KM
