hey, can someone explain to me where the knock module actually goes, it looks like it plugs in something by the pictures ive seen.. no idea where it goes, i need all parts that require the knock module to work... i already have the pcm .. but is there another part that the knock module plugs into and then connects to the harness? or does it just plug in some where with the pcm?


Thanks guys, i just need to know cuz i dont even have a knock module at all yet, i havent finished my lt1 project yet and the car still hasnt been started, just dont wanna start it with out all the proper parts

 

ah! -- i think i understand.. it is inside my ecu?? i just have to pull the cover off and put the new one in place of the old one?

The KM just replaces the other one. If you take out the pcm the very top of it is where the old km is. it only takes like 10 min max to swap out.
