It probably wouldn't help you out since you don't have headders or RR's

the "!" means deleted. EGR (exhaust gas recircilaton) and AIR really just frees up the engine bay with little to no performance gain. I just did it because I put headders on and I didn't want anything hanging off of them. !TB means I bypassed the cooling lines that go to the Throttle Body to keep it cooler. Good for maybe 5 hp or so. !CAGS is I removed skip shift (Computer Aided Gear Selector) All you have to do is unplug it from the tranny. If you don't want the light, you can order something to plug into it.

It's as simple as taking the cooling lines on the side of the TB and connecting them together. On a 96 you don't need any parts.

This might help you out

I'll probably just go ahead and do the throttle body bypass and knock module before i get into the bigger mods.. would that be a good idea?

I would not spend the money on lt4 knock untill you do headers or r/r. Spend it on CAI (cold air intake) or cat back exhaust system! You'll notice the difference and or sound!
