Unhappy Kinda Feelin Dumb

Okay, I know this is gonna sound stupid but my friend borrowed my maintenance book for my Z28. I have no clue how to get to the upper bolts to change out my shocks. I asked a couple of fellow Camaro owners and they've had to change their shocks, so that's when I decided to ask the guru's. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank

the rear upper shock bolts are inside the car.u have to pull back the carpet behind the backseats.the front upper mounting bolts are on the wheel well in the engine bay.
