Arrow Keys don't match the t-top locks... suggestions?

What can I do if the keys don't match the t-top locks? I tried the same key for both doors, hatch and glovebox and it works. But no go on either of the t-tops...
I'm pretty sure the tops are original on this car too. Any way to get a key for the t-tops? Do they have a VIN on them somewhere?
Thanks.

You can prolly have a locksmith do it. The handle is held in with a c clip. Pop it off, pull handle off. Then the pastic is just clipped on oveer that. Once you are inside the lock mechanism shouldnt be too hard to get out.

You can have a locksmith re-key the locks so that your door key will work on the tops.
I learned a lot about locks the other day, one of our club members is a locksmith and was showing me all the different tools they use.

Take it to a locksmith??

If the keys don't work I would assume they aren't factory?? I know sometimes I have to fiddle with them a bit to unlock mine.

my car was missing a T top lock when i got it for some reason. I just went to the dealer and ordered the parts for the lock and they pretty much just give you all the components to build a lock and i took them to the local locksmith and in 10 min's he had assembled the new lock to match my key. It might be costly but it is an option if you can't find anything else.

Hi Ion,
I think the lock inside the t-top might be busted. I believe all the t-top locks and keys were the same...but correct me if I'm wrong
