Angry keyless entry alarm question

ok i've got a question about my factory keyless entry/alarm. I've re programmed my transmitter and have read up on everything there is to know about it in the manual, including all the special features (last door lock, etc) and have disconnected the battery ...but still.........

here's what happens...... everytime i arm my car from the outside (the car horn chirps twice) and about five or six seconds later it starts going off for no reason. every single time. i've checked the sensitivity of the shock sensor and it's set normal. I have tried everything and i do not know what to do.

If anyone has had this problem PLEASE help me out and give me some suggestions

THANKS FOR REPLIES

Angry Alarm Problem

Hey buddy I have the exact same problem. My car had some minor damage to it so I got it fixed and painted. I took my car home and about three days later I started having the same problems. Arm the car and about 6 secounds later if not less the alarm goes off again.
I unhooked my sensor and the alarm stopped going off. I kinda cleaned the terminals but I am going to try and clean them better. Bad area to get into on that kind of plug. I also opened my trunk and the seal wasent properly covering and I think the water soaked it so that might be why. I tried drying it out but so far no luck. I just want to throw the stupid thing lol

So yeah its still not working right what can I do?

HELP!

Your keyless entry module is bad ,sorry to say, but you will have to buy a new one or get an alarm with keyless entry.

Possibly switch contacts in the door jams or at the rear hatch latch. If not, I think the alarm system is integrated into the body control module located by the passenger kick panel.

what happens if you lock the doors w/o the key fob so as to not set the alarm?

the vibration sensor for your alarm system(granted your car is like mine) is on the pass. side fender behind the plastic side molding. you must remove the same molding when you get to your spare tire if the helps.
