Kevko oil pan???

Anyone know anything about these pans???
7 quart capacity drag-street pan 8" deep, 2 gate assembly, removable tray, scraper and plated yellow finish.

you can get them in either 2 or 1 pc. and with the dipstick on either side. cost is roughly $150. Just seeing if anyone knows of any fitment issues with them. Dont want to spend at least 300 for a canton.

Chevycobb,

I don't know anything about those pans, but I did get this one from summit http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

And used it on my new motor. I had to have a windage tray because I used 4 bolt mains and studs. It was between a canton and this one but at the time canton's were on back order or something and I could not wait.

I have a canton RR pan on my other f-body and that dam thing leaks, not bad, but enough to **** you off when you tried to fixit umtenth frickin times.

How is the rebuild coming along, you must be getting close?

rebuild going good but slow due to having to put in a lot of hous at work and the car is at my parents. I don't have a garage at my place so I took theirs over lol. short block is done...heads and cam(le1) are ready to go on. really the last big thing I need is an oil pan now.

lol as far as it being a chineese knock off...not sure but wouldn't surprise me.

wonder is any moroso pans also fit with no problem....

I'd go with Moroso or Canton. That's all.

Kevco

I have used Kevco on 4 of my own engines with great success. I also work special projects at a shop that uses them alot for road racing/auto-cross builds. The only gotcha is the same as Moroso or Champ pans. If you get one that is clearanced for a stroker, get allen head bolts for the pan to ease your assembly. Thats all. One good luck story here.
