Keep going through O2's w/Longtubes
Keep going through O2's w/Longtubes
I'm on my second set of O2 sensors with this car. My 1st set were Bosch's which didn't last long and now I have AC Delco's and the passenger side one is throwing a heater circuit malfunction code which is the same thing that happened to the Bosch's. I have Dynatech longtube headers with the slip on collectors and programming by PCMforless. It always seems to be the passenger side though and when the Bosch's went, if I shook it it would rattle inside which I assumed would've been the problem with it since the one that was OK didn't rattle. Any ideas would be appreciated.

First, stop using Bosch O2 sensors, they're wrong for our cars, get ACDelcos!
I had a rattle in my old O2's, too, and it turned out the ceramic "rod" in the sensor itself was broken in three pieces
which means it is dead for sure...

I have a similar problem on a 93 with Jet-Hots. I have to change my pass side O2 about every 3 months. I use the Bosch's also. Im gonna try the heated conversion with AC Delco, next time it goes out.
I would like to hear other peoples solutions also.
