K&N cold air induction for traction control LT1?

I was wondering if anyone knew of a K&N cold air induction kit that would fit an LT1 that has traction control. i've been looking for a while, and i can only find them for cars that DONT have traction control. maybe im not looking in the right place! if anyone knows if the K&N company even makes a cold air kit for LT1's with traction control, it'd be great if they could tell me where to find it. thanks for the help.

The traction control makes no difference with the cold air induction. My roommate has the same Moroso CAI on his 95 Z with TC that I have on my 94.

Get whichever CAI you want.

The TC controller isn't even near the air inlet. I have TC and a K&N setup. It's been on there for around seven years and it still fits!

When I had a K&N it fit fine.
My 97 has traction control and I can't see how it would make a difference.
If there is one it's not enough for the thing not to fit.

Maybe Summit is wrong. Like I said, my roomie has the Moroso on his 95 with TC. I know it works and fits fine because I put it in myself. I don't really see how the Moroso is any different from the K&N. They both have very similar shapes.

Oh well...maybe the K&N doesn't work. Just get the SLP or the Moroso.

I've saw the same statement in many racing mags., and I don't understand why it would be true

The idea that the traction control box at the back of the drivers side valve cover would interfere with a CAI setup, when there is already an air intake setup there, is absolutely wrong.

Look at this pic of my CAI :
http://people.unt.edu/~ras0018/intake3.JPG

Notice the black box at the back of the engine back on top of the valve cover (right above the red plug wires). How that box can interfere with the air intake is beyond me.

Here's another pic of the intake:
http://people.unt.edu/~ras0018/intake1.JPG

It's a 3" mandrel bent pipe with a massive K&N cylinder filter. The 3" is certainly large enough when you consider that most performance exhausts are 3" and that's after the air has been severely heated and expanded.
