k motion 800 springs

i just found out that my springs wont work for the cam im running. si need a spring that will work, i need 155# on the seat and 420s or more on the lift.

ive looked at the k motion 800 springs. they look like they will do what i need.

but my question is has anyone had any trouble with them.

They make good stuff.I have run them in the past with no problems.
Call them to get their recommended set up and see if the springs you are looking at will work.

OK
I like your choice of pressures. That is the pressures I use to set up customers cars. That will drop off about 15-25lbs after break in.
I would still run it by K Motion, just to make sure about fit and retainers. They may want to see something different on your set up and their tech dept is pretty dam good.
It's a phone call vs possibly something broke.
Good luck with it.

Re: k motion 800 springs

joe overton is desinging the cam for. and i told him to go as wild as he wanted. (its not a dailey driver). he said i need at least a 155 on the seat and at least 400 or 420 open, and at least a .600 spring. so if i loose 20 on the wear in, i may have to set them up at 1.800 instead of 1.850. 173 on the seat and 518 open, and that would leave me with a .650 lift.
