k-membered cars and daily driving?

i just heard from a buddy that a strut tower brace is highly recommended after doing a k-member?
he says that the car can be scary at highway speeds if you dont have one?
any truth to that? to me it would kinda defeat the purpose of getting one for the weight reduction if you have to add a STB!

anyone care to comment on how there car drives, with a k-member and without a STB?

thanks
Steve

but you already have a K-member... are you talking tubular or aftermarket one?

also a STB only helps reduce shock tower flex from turning... should have no affects on the highway

No effect on driving with BMR K Member, just lighter and you don't lose tools like you do on top of the stock one.

If I remember right they claim 30 some odd pounds weight reduction with their tubular K member. An STB doesn't weigh that much.
