Just water for coolant?

Is there anything wrong with using more water than antifreeze for a coolant fix in the summer months? Me being an indiot opened the radiator cap while hot, please no insults I know it was a stupid theing to do, and lost a good amount of coolant. So now I am bleeding my system and I'm using just water to fill it back up how ever there is still coolant in the system. I know during the colder months antifreeze is used to prevent coolant from freezing so what about the summer months?

Re: Just water for coolant?

Anti-freeze also raises the boiling point of the coolant. You might have trouble with it running hotter.
