4.10s rock with 300 - 450 horse. i had them with 320 rwhp with 4.10s and loved it. but when i stroked the car to 600hp, i had to shift so freaking fast. i went down to 3.73, and prob could have done 3.42.

Sure, it's going to feel faster. You are getting more torque multiplication. Bottom line is "what can you do with it?"

Hey I'm going to be putting in 4:10's this spring. What kind of gear did you get and did you get any gear wine after it was installed?

it did help a lil with times. not like you would think though. it was ~.1 and ~.2 faster after I master the launch. But on the street, they allowed for a lot more control, and heavies acceleration at WOT after taking turns and such. Youll see a lot better performance from a roll than a dig, but youll be able to burn the tires easier.

when i was building for the stock application, I stayed with the 10 bolt, thew in an eaton posi, and moser gears. (ROCKED) I moved this rear end over to a 97 RS when I stroked my SS. In the SS I put a 12 bolt strange rear endstrange engineering with 3.73 gears.

Wait til it rains and your on a hill. Must...get...traction. I loved mine, but they drove me crazy. I am going to try 3.73s next when the cam goes in.

wining a little at deaccelaration other than that i went with motives...
