im thinkin about doin a LE1 head(and a small blower cam) with a T-trim. is it possible to just swap the pistons..and where (around virginia) can i get it done and for how much? -Mark

 

I can't help you with the where to get it done really, but maybe I could help with something else. You can swap pistons, sure...but. I don't think it would be quite as simple as it sounds, you would want to have the rotating assembly balanced after getting new pistons, also I know I would want to get ARP rod bolts, and the rods checked for straightness, resized, etc..or a cheap set of Aftermarket I beams, and probably want to get the crank polished up. Also you would need to re-hone the bores to get the new rings to seat as well. Now I am sure others have done this without doing all the extra work that I have mentioned and it may have held up. But I believe thats the minimum others would recomend to you as well.
