just new alt pulley

would it be a bad thing if I just installed the larger alt pulley?

I don't want to install the crank, I just want to use the bigger alt pulley, because it will clean the pulley area up, will the bigger pulley effect anything?

Yes, it will make your alternator turn slower.

if you're doing this for power, do the crank pulley.. It's not hard to install and will offer you a larger net.
