Just finished my torque converter install..Question

How many qts of tranny fluid you think? I need to run out and get some? Approx 6 hrs to install converter, not too bad for 2 of us.

If you just changed the converter, just pick up 3 or 4 quarts, that should do it. Did you put any into the converter before installing it? If you did, than I would put one quart in, start the car and warm it up, and recheck the level.

BTW, for two guys that is an hour or two job tops!

Kewl, thanks. We actually worked on more than the converter and stopped for a couple of breaks. An hour or 2 is pretty quick, even if you had everything completely setup. We changed the fuel filter, tranny filter, wired up a manual fan switch and stopped to eat some pizza All in all it was pretty much a straight forward shot on the install. Car feels great, I'm a little hesitant to jump on it hard right now though. Plus it is pretty damn loud when you have to give more gas to go.
