Thumbs up Just did Over The Valve wires from Thunder..

It is a nice set up. I did the side mount ones for easier access to get the valve covers off. Anyway it wasn't as hard as some people have said. It is a bit time consuming but well worth it I think. Now I hope I crimped the wires right. I guess I will know when I go to try to start the car this weekend.... Anyway if any of you are going to do this mod and need any tips, feel free to let me know.

Also has anyone did these with FLP's? That is what I have & my #5 wire boot is still dam close to that primary... It isn't touching so I don't think it will burn but it might get real soft & deteriate...... I dunno....

Anyway I thought I would share these thoughts with you. Project GTP Heads is almost done.... I hope it starts..

My number 5 primary is close to mine as well, I have MSD 8.5s and Hooker LTs.
I hope mine starts as well, been down 3 months now for the header and suspension and tranny install. Almost done with it.
I think if I get that #5 damaged boot I will go with some heat shield cover things for the wires.

I did them in probably 3 hrs. As far as getting them all from the top...... I was able to connect the boots to the spark plugs all from the top but it was an up top then back under battle for routing & measuring & connecting the wires to the Opti. I had my headers bolted down but loose until I got the wires on the plugs then I tightend down the headers then routed the wires in that order.

I'm running FLP headers with Taylor wires and you're right, the #5 spark plug boot is pretty close to the primary. I've had these wires on my car now for almost 2 years and haven't any deterioration.
