jet-hot headers

I just got my Jet-hot LT's in and I noticed that the drivers side is in 2 pieces. My question is; Is there anything I need to clamp that shut with or in some way seal it shut? It seems as though it would leak if you just bolted it up. It is on a 96 Firebird. The headers did not come with anything to seal it there.

I just used a little Ultra Copper RTV there. No clamp or anything.

I would recommend a clamp and RTV. Better to do it when you put them on than to have them leak. Then you would have to take them off to get the clamp on the slip joint.
