Looks very similar to my Canton oil pan. Mine works fine but rests a bit on the front ontop of the powersteering. Might call Jegs and see what they recc for your app.

Hey FYI - I recently replaced my pan gasket with my motor in place and was able to completely pull the pan (canton 15-244t race pan) - see link below:

http://www.cantonracingproducts.com/...ace.html#15244

Just used a bottle jack on the balancer and pivoted the motor up and removed the motor mounts and pulled her out. Quite a PITA but it's do'able. Good luck with that.

just an update...to anyone that might attempt this its fairly difficult..I have removed the motor mount bolts and the tranny crossmember and torque arm. I have a cherry picker supporting the motor and a floor jack under the rear of the trans. I have pushed the motor as far back to the back of the firewall and still dont have enough clearance between the kmember and the bottom of the pan. I am goin to have to drop the k member down a few inches to clear it. and then maybe it will fit. what a pain

well the idiots at jegs sent me the wrong pickup tube...it physically will not fit in the pan with the pump, funny enough the fist thing that I saw when I opened the package was sheet suggesting complimentary components for the pan which listed a pickup tube which was not the one recieved. I even called when I recieved it and they reassured me it was the right one. as you can tell i'm pretty pissed. And yes the pan will fit but you have to drop the kmember in addition to the rest of the procedure.

Wow I was not aware that pan would fit to begin with. That sucks about the pickup tube.

Still wondering about updates, going to 383 and wanted to know how header clearance and fit has held up?

Im curious too...Im in the market for a new oil pan and this one seems like it would be nice...I dont want one with kick outs for header/starter clearance issues...and the price of this one seems pretty good...

Its a good pan it fits good i did have to bend the crank scaper to fit it properly in the right rear side of the pan and to allow the dipstick to fit in. i do now have a moderate oil leak but I haven't isolated the exact place that it is leaking. i would recommend this pan especially if the motor is out of the car. Make sure to get the correct reccomended pan gasket, hopefully a jeg's rep will tell you...they said nothing to me

Do you have any pics of it installed in the car? Does it fit well with long tubes?
