I noticed in a few of your replies to threads that you are going to be running the LE2 H/C package soon on the stock short block.

i wanna know when you get it running how it does.

And how many miles are on your car??

He has 89k or 90k....it should be running in about 3 weeks.

 

just wondering how well his motor likes/holds up too the LE2 kit and what he is spinning the motor too.

I've got 89k on my stock shortblock.. I plan to spin it to 6500-6600 RPM till she blows

My heads and intake just arrived at Lloyd's location yesterday, turnaround time is 2-3 weeks I believe, then another week or so for install and getting everything else together and in order.

Hey Javier97Z28, not to dwell on the past but since im looking at a set up a lot like your old one could you tell me how you liked the xe 224/230 cam? Did it lope at all at idle? what was the idle set at? where did it start to make power? Also, and most importantly to me, how was the vig 3200 for daily driving? Ive heard that vigs' stall about 400 rpm higher then advertised, is this true through your experiences? Seems like a really nice running cam only set up you had there. Thanks for the info.

Yes, did lope at idle.. which was set to 850 I believe..

Great power throughout the powerband, came on quick b/c of those nasty XE ramps.

The 3200 was cake for daily driving... IMO it flashed at the advertised 3200 stall, footbrake stall at the track was about 2300 RPM under ET Streets.
