Talking Are Jason Cromer's prices for real!?!?

I need a Power Steering pump, went to Chevy dealer locally, they want $321 for a pump I emailed Jason, he said the pump is $63 bucks plus a $20 core charge. Now THAT is some good ****!

A lot of people have recommended speaking with Jason, so I guess he's a pretty reputable guy. I've never personally dealt with him, so I can't offer any information as far as that goes.

A "core charge" is an "exchange." You give them the old part, and they give you the new one and knock some of the price off of the new part. Usually places like Pep Boys do this with alternators and batteries. The parts are rebuildable, so they're just re-manufactured and re-sold.

No kidding?! I use www.gmpartsdirect.com for most of my purchases. It looks like I'm going to have to give Jason a call. Got a contact number?

Ask for Jason Cromer in service

I bought a 1LE aluminum DS from gmpartsdirect.com for $219. Good price but they charged me $45 for shipping. I'm never making that mistake again!

No it's not mandatory to send the original part back, the only catch is that you don't get your core charge back then. If you bought a new part from a local store I would't see why you want to keep a broken old part and not have your core charge back though. But on the other hand if the part was shipped to you and you had to ship the old part back, you would have to see how much it would cost you to ship it back and is it even worth it to you.

Jason and Dal...

I can get a hold of Jason easier.. Both guys work off 10% profit margin.
I usually order from Dal now cuz im in florida so i would have to pay sales tax with jason.. but if Dal isnt in then i call up jason.
When i was in ohio I'd call jason cuz Dal would have to charge me sales tax for being in Ohio.

Fast low cost shipping.
