Jack points...

What do you all use as jack points? The whole "Do Not Jack Here" at the front jackpoint is pretty confusing. I don't know about using the SFC's (they are not the double diamond type).

Also if you wanted to jack up both rear wheels with the suspension unsprung. I assume for both fronts you could use the engine mount.

Both front, I allways use the crossmember, if you want the suspension unsprung then I use the flat spot behind the black plastic thing where it says "do not jack here"
For the rear I use the pumpkin, I do no know a safe way to jack the rear with the suspension unsprung.

I just use the frame, do one side at a time. There is prolly something in your owners manual as well that tells you where the "official" jack points are.

There is a shallow notch several inches long in the frame that you are suppose to jack from near where everyone says "Do not jack here"

Sometimes the jack being there is in the way. So I am also wondering where other good jacking points are.

If your using a floor jack, you can jack on the frame but use a piece of wood or else you will dent it. Put your jack stand at the notch in the rocker flange not on the frame or else it will leave a dent. If your using the factory scissor jack, you have to jack at the notch in the rocker flange.
