I've had a Comp R fail.

Long story short. I've had a Comp R lifter (2500 miles on them) come apart on me. I really wanted the car ready for a local cruise night on Friday. I might still be able to do it, but I'm not real sure about useing my low mileage stockers that I still have on hand with the GM 847 and dual coil springs.
Opinions on that anyone?
