i went on a cruise yesterday. we went uphill to the mountain. well, my friend's 95 Z was overheating on the way home. i thought it was the thermostat, because he got coolant all over his battery. the temp. was shooting up even though he was running 85 MPH. he towed his car to my house (only 9 miles) and i told him to open his drain plug. all the dirt came out. there was no oil in the coolant, and no coolant in the oil. i filled his radiator with water and start the car for 10 min. waited again for 15 min, and drained it again. we did it for like 3 times, and the car temp is back to normal. i saw a lot of dirt and mud in his coolant. i told him, the t-stat might be stucked closed because of all that dirt.....so flush your radiator once in a while guys.....thanks for reading
