For some reason i just got done installing my shift light...had the pcm out....dash apart....blah blah...but got everything back together and it was fine...went to the car wash like always and about 10 mins later the damn car is missing throughout the RPM range!!!! Missing like crazy and the check engine light is on...now what??? Just recently changed the plugs, wires, opti...anyway what else could be the damn problem??? please help..

once I went to one of those self wash places and tried to clean the engine bay took my car 5-10min. before it would start again!! It was because I got the stupid opti. wet. Engine light came on. It might be the opti getting wet Did the check engine go away after a while??

Start by finding out what the code is.

 

TRYING TO FIND SOMEONE TO SCAN THE CAR FOR ME TO FIND OUT WHAT IT IS...IT IS NOT A CONSTANT LIGHT ....JUST COMES ON AND THEN GOES OFF BACK AND FOURTH, NOT SURE WHAT THE DEAL IS??/ JUST CHANGED THE OPTI, PLUGS, WIRES THOUGH, CAR STILL MISSED A LITTLE WHEN I WOULD REV IT UP KINDA QUICK AFTER IT WARMED UP BUT WOULD ONLY DO IT ONCE IN A WHILE, (CAR WOULD BE IN CLOSED LOOP BY THEN SO NOT SURE WHICH SENSOR OR SIMILIAR IT COULD BE??) AS FAR AS THE CAR WASH, I JUST DROVE THROUGH...WITH MY FANS ON (MANUAL SWITCH) BY ACCIDENT AND A FEW MINUTES AFTER IT STARTED DOING IT....
