looks like a knockoff of the HPP+, which has been proven to have negative effects on performance in some situations.

They have been around a long time and I have heard that they produce just about as good as a hypercrap.

The few reviews I have read about the Superchips Microtuner leads me to believe it does tune somewhat better than Hypertech. You can visit their website here: www.superchips.com

I have seen the Tornado reviews on their commercial and we all know how good that works. Also, Z-max has great reviews on there commericals also.

I'm not referring to self-produced commerials. I'm referring to the few owner reviewed pieces I've seen. Why are you confused between the Tornado and a power programmer?

i think teh part about teh 160stat causing excessive fuel comsumption is teh best part. if they were doing work that was worth anything to tune the car they woudl take advatage of teh lower engien temp to run more timing adn modify teh highway loop for mileage anyway, since tehy are completely seperate parts of the program.
sounds liek they are peddling teh same off the shelf compromised junk as everyone else. 94+ LT1 cars can plug in a lap top and use LT1 Edit to alter any every part of the program mentioned in that ad and actually do it for the car instead of just getting some prefab bs that will barely change anything.
