Introducing our "old geezer" LT1 heads and cam package!

Well,
Over time we have begun to notice that nobody really has a head package for the average consumer who wants great street manners and also a tire shredder when they stick their foot in it. Now i'm not talking street manners as in everyones opinion, because it differs. There are the guys out there who would say "well my 298*/298* .800"/.800" 106LSA cam drives like stock" we have all seen it before...but in true street passion meaning get in it, don't hunt for an idle, drive to work, take the wife to dinner, what have you. Yet still produce the power enough to satisfy your craving for speed. We have engineered a package to do just that.

Our package includes the "old geezer" series cylinder heads.
The valve springs are crane 10308's package.
a 3 angle competition valve job with full radius and throat work.
All of the port work is done as well as machine work.
The heads are assembled meticulously and spring pressures set.
These heads have a very small cross section to boost low speed tq.
A custom ground camshaft is matched to the port profiles of the heads.
This package will produce great power and tq while keeping a super friendly idle and street manners.

The total package is $1,450.00 on exchange basis for the heads.

Thanks!
Our test car put down 369 RWHP and 371 ft. lbs and this car doesnt even sound like it has a cam in it. Our new custom spec cam makes power everywhere and is very very tame. literally you cant hear a lope in the idle. but on average I would say about 350+ rwhp and similar tq with a stock idle.

Who do you get your cam cores from? Also do you have valve springs in stock that could handle up to .700 lift?. Yes this is for a SR.

Yes,
These heads are not meant for big power adders. Our stage 2 heads will work much better with a turbo set up, but to answer your question..yes we can spec out some cam numbers and a great set of heads for you.

Comp Cams is where we get ours ground. The comp 943 springs are what we run alot with big solid stuff...but depending on your application is what your springs should spec..(valve weight, retainer material, duration and ramp of the cam etc..) If you want to PM me your cam specs and head specs, I can recommend a spring for you.

A better number would be the difference after installing the heads/cam,
especially when the test car specs arent identified. So, based on that,
what would be the net HP increase after the install?

Very true,
The car was a 93' 6-speed z28. The car previously had pace setter long tubes with an off-road y pipe, magnaflow cat back, CSI electric water pump, moroso cold air, holley 52mm tb, 1LE intake elbow and a full dyno tune. The car put down 289/312 with all of those mods. We added the "old geezer" heads and camshaft set up and a tune, ended up with 369/371 with the only changes being that. Still using stock rockers and unported intake manifold. A gain of 80 rwhp and 59 rwt.

they probly wont give out the specs since its a custom grind package deal. But i bet its not much bigger than a hotcam, if not abit milder. definately not much overlap if it doesnt lobe at all at idle. probly similar to like a cc502 grind or inbetween the 501 and 502

220*/226* .580"/.580" 116 LSA are the hard numbers..the ramp rates are secret but very similar to XFI lobes it's a very cool sleeper cam..it actually idles much like the cc304 cam in the sense that it's just louder..no lope.

I know sound isnt everything and this is obviously a nice package, I would just like it to sound as bad as it performs. Im not in the market or anything I was just wondering if the op could do that.

This package is just for the sleeper effect..we do have 450+ rwhp heads and cam packages as well that sound like a top fuel car..but this specific package was designed for driver comfort and sleeper effect. If you want a really radical sounding power monster..we can do that too.
