Internal Mods...NEED HELP...

Alright everyone i have a quick question. My car as of right now is basically stock, the only mods i have is a SLP CAI, B&M Electronic Shift Improver Kit, and a y-pipe in place of my muffler.

Now i am planning on doing my exhaust and headers next. Im going to do either Hooker Long Tubes back into an X pipe with bullet mufflers, or an SLP Loudmouth with shorty headers.

But anyways, I am thinking about putting a cam in my car. (Im just starting to get into modding my car so i dont know what everything does) I love the way it has that lopey idle. I was wondering what would be the best cam to get. I thought i remember someone saying the CC306 is the best..But what else do i have to do besides put in the cam? do i do new rollers and lifters and what else? Another thing is i dont have TONS of cash, so i am also looking for something in a reasonable price range, so if anyone has any suggestions, PLEASE let me know..THANKS ALOT

There is no best cam persay,

Different cams make differnet amounts of power in different areas.
like the hot cam will make lots of top end power where as the 845 is torquier low end cam.

Once you know where you want the power, then the guys can help out with a cam. The most helpful thing is meeting up with people who have different cams so you can fell how they perform, and decide if its what you like or not. I have had the hot and 847 cam and both are fairly large and have a chunky(lobey) idle(and with the 847 crappy idle) and very little low end grunt , but scream above 4k New lifters would be nice but aren't mandatory, with a good sized cam new springs, and rockers will be mandatory
