intermitent ignition breakup

Just got my car off of the dyno where it was tuned, it ran 375 HP and 385 TQ. It ran fine on the dyno at wideopen exept one run where there was wheel spin or ignition break up,Looking at the dyno it was at 5000 rpm so I do not think it was wheel spin. Driving home I noticed that intermitently there was some sort of ignition break up. What could cause this? The opti is a new MSD, with MSD wires, Mallory hyfire ignition, Mallory pro master coil. Could it be a bad ground? I had a scanner hooked to the car the whole drive and no codes or indications of a bad sensor reading.

I have the new MSD aswell, I also had ignition issues on the dyno and off. you need to pull the cap off the opti and make sure the screws are still tight on the rotor. My rotor actually came off and ruined my opti, MSD stood behind it and sent me another one and when I checked out the new one the screws weren't loctited again. I used the blue loctite and haven't had ant issues since.

That is odd that no DTC was set. Tell us more about what you are driving and your mods. Info in your sig would help.
