Interior removale question for installing shocks
I am installing rear shocks and can't figure out how to remove the peices beside the back seats. I can't seem to get the clothes hanger things off and am not sure what else I need to do to remove these peices. Any help so I don't bust something would be great.
I think the rear pass panels are just spread apart, not removed. Are you doing this yourself? You do have to remove the back speaker panels(bird),but maybe you should get some advice (free)from a local tire install place or something .Hope this helps.
there no need to take the panels off the carpet is cut from the factory were the shock comes though the floor, if you fold down the rear seat and look right were the floor board goes flat right beside the panels push on the carpet and you'll see were it is cut out already.
There are no cuts in my carpet, but all I had to do was pull the carpet from under the panels toward the center and I had enough room to get to the nuts. You can re-tuck it under the panels when done. I did take the rear pop off panels off.
I used Injuneer's install instructions: http://members.aol.com/InjuneerZZ/HALEibch.htm
Thanks for all the help guys! I've found where the cuts are in the carpet and while they are not cut very well after I re-cut them I should be able to see the nuts! You might have cuts shoebox, mine where very hard to find and are not cut very well at all. You are the master tho so you probably don't!
