Please help me if you can here.......yesterday i took out my factory radio to try to install an aftermarket cd player. well i have the bose so as it turns out so i now have the factory radio back in the dash.

Now tonight while i was driving around at night, every time i hit a bump the interior lights come and and then go off. i am guessing this is a wiring issue so what one would i have to check if i took the dash off again? otherwise what else could be doing this?

my car use to do the same thing but it has not done it in a while, i dont no why it does that

 

so if i wait it should just fo away......or did you do something to make it stop?

Make sure your rear hatch is latched closed. I've driven 30 miles with the hatch down but not latched and you can't tell unless you hit a bump and the roof light will flash.

 

holy crap that was it.......THANKS man! i didnt think that was it since i didnt use my hatch all day. on my way in my sister says "oh yeah i got something out of there tonight" case solved, thanks again

 

lmfao.. that same thing happened to me.. someone asked me "hey bro how did you hook up your dome light to go with your bass?" i was like wtf are you talking about man hes all "you know how ur light flashes when the bass hits?" hahaha so i was stumped for a few seconds until i realized the hatch wasnt latched!

 

another thing on this topic.. i think my hatch is haunted because even on days i dont use it it sometimes manages to pop itself open

 

My remote opener is the culprit...keys bunched up in your pocket and hit the button unintentionally.
